While people everywhere were busy shopping and wrapping presents for loved ones, the Sandals Foundation was working hard to organize their annual holiday toy drive. Their efforts paid off and the Sandals Foundation is pleased to announce another successful event! Thanks to the goodwill of generous donors and valuable partner Hasbro, Inc., thousands of children all across the Caribbean received special gifts with nothing but smiles on their faces.

For every $12 donation that was made to the Sandals Foundation’s “T.W.ELVES in 2012” (Truly Wonderful Elves) Annual Toy Drive, Sandals Resorts International matched the contribution. Additionally, Hasbro Inc. donated over 10,000 toys including interactive board games, stuffed animals and fun arts and crafts, to underserved boys and girls throughout Jamaica, The Bahamas, Saint Lucia, Antigua and the Turks & Caicos Islands.

“Thanks again to enormous efforts from the Sandals Foundation and Hasbro, Inc., this year’s holiday toy drive was a huge success,” said Adam Stewart, founder and president of the Sandals Foundation. “We believe it is so important to help improve the lives of the youth in our communities. Each year, we look forward to being able to spread extra joy to these children and their families and we appreciate the support we receive from our valued partners and donors in order to make this possible.”
